Line A (Baseline) connects the osseous acetabular convexity to the point where the joint
capsule and the perichondrium unite with the iliac bone;
Line B(Inclination Line) connects the osseous acetabular convexity to the labrum
acetabulare;
Line C(Roof Line) connects the lower edge of the iliac bone to the osseous acetabular
convexity.
α is the angle between baseline and roof line.
β is the angle between baseline and inclination line.
To use Hip Joint Angle measurement:
1.
Invoke the B-mode Measure function.
2.
Select HIP on the touch screen and then select Left or Right on the right side of touch screen.
A horizontal straight line with a caliper on it will be displayed on the image field.
3.
Use the trackball to move this horizontal straight line to place the baseline. Rotate the Angle
knob on the console to adjust the angle of baseline if necessary.
4.
Press
Set
key and the default angle α and roof line comes out.
5.
Move the trackball to place the roof line and rotate the Angle knob to adjust the angle α.
6.
Press
Set
key and the default angle β and inclination line comes out.
7.
Move the trackball to place the inclination line and rotate the Angle knob to adjust the angle
β.
8.
Press
Set
key to complete the measurement.
9.
Evaluate the type of hip joint through Graf method.
7.4 Patient Information Management
7.4.1. Storing Images
The control panel has two store keys:
Store 1
and
Store 2
, and one
key. Each of these three
keys can be separately configurable to support any of the following functions:
Store a static image.
Store a clip.
Video print function
For details about the configuration of these three keys, please refer to section 9.1.3.
Storing an image:
1.
If one of these three keys is configured to store a static image it will always capture what is
on the imaging area of the screen. This includes live, frozen, or Cine images. It also
includes reports or other GUI screens and review.
Storing a clip:
1.
If one of these three keys is configured to store a clip image it will capture the moving
image in live or auto cine play. If the image is frozen or a non-image screen is displayed
then a static image is stored.
