Report on the performance testing of the Serinus 30 ambient air quality

7.1 8.4.13 Difference sample/calibration port
The difference between sample and calibration port shall not exceed 1.0 %.
7.2 Test procedure
If the analyser has different ports for feeding sample gas and calibration gas, the difference
in response of the analyser to feeding through the sample or calibration port shall be tested.
The test shall be carried out by feeding the analyser with a test gas with a concentration of
70 % to 80 % of the maximum of the certification range of carbon monoxide through the
sample port. The test shall consist of one independent measurement followed by two individ-
ual measurements. After a period of at least four response times, the test shall be repeated
using the calibration port. The difference shall be calculated according to:

7.3 Testing
The test was performed in accordance with the requirements on testing as stipulated in DIN
EN 14626. For test gas feeding the path was controlled by means of a three-way valve be-
tween sample and calibration port.
7.4 Evaluation
The following differences between sample and calibration ports were determined:
System 1 (001): -0.09 %
System 2 (002): -0.17 %
7.5 Assessment
This is in complete compliance with the performance criteria stipulated in Standard DIN EN
14626.
