7.3.4.6 Alarm in case of low tank temperature
NOTE
If the temperature is too low, this only causes an alarm if the metering is enabled.
(Metering enable contact is switched on)
A low alarm limit value can be set for the wash tank temperature so that a low temperature
does not lead to poor cleaning results.
An alarm message is released only when the corresponding limit value has been fallen
below (TEMPERATURE MINIMUM) and the alarm delay time has expired.
The alarm message (LOW TEMPERATURE) appears on the display and the external
alarm message output is activated.
Press any key to confirm the alarm message output. The alarm message remains blinking
on the display until the temperature reaches or exceeds the limit value.
The limit value for the temperature can be adjusted from OFF to 99 °C
(ex-works setting is OFF).
The temperature limit value must be set as follows:
1. Activate the ALARM CONTROL SETUP menu.
2. Press the
↵
key.
3. Scroll with the NEXT key until the next menu is displayed.
4. Enter the required value with the or key.
5. Press the NEXT key to confirm.
7.3.4.7 Alarm delay time for temperature undercut
NOTE
The alarm delay time can be set only if the limit value is preset (>OFF)
The alarm can be prevented from triggering for short-term, insignificant changes in the
temperature (ex-works setting is 0120 s) by setting an alarm delay time.
The delay time must be set as follows:
1. Activate the ALARM CONTROL SETUP menu.
2. Press the
↵
key.
3. Scroll with the NEXT key until the next menu is displayed.
4. Starting with the currently blinking digit, enter the required value with the or
key.
The next digit can be selected with the
↵
key.
The time can be set to a value between 1 and 9999 sec at intervals of 1 sec.
5. Press the NEXT key to confirm.
