7.3.4.4 Detergent overdosage alamr
Determining a limit value for conductivity (DET: OVERDOSAGE. CONZ.: XXX mS/cm) can
prevent an overdose of detergent in the wash tank. Exceeding the determined value
triggers the DETERGENT OVERDOSAGE alarm.
An overdose of detergent can occur if, for example, the metering pump does not stop due
to a fault.
The (DETERGENT OVERDOSAGE) alarm appears on the display and the external alarm
output is activated. Press any key to confirm the external alarm output. The alarm message
remains blinking on the display until the density drops below the limit value.
The limit value for the conductivity can be set depending upon the preset density value of
SP1 to 300 mS/cm (ex-works setting is 100 ms/cm).
NOTE
The limit value for the overdose must be at least 20 % above the preset concentration
value of SP1 (a setting below 20 % is not possible).
The detergent overdose concentration must be set as follows:
1. Activate the ALARM CONTROL SETUP menu.
2. Press the
↵
key.
3. Scroll with the NEXT key until the next menu is displayed.
4. Enter the required value with the or key.
5. Press the NEXT key to confirm.
7.3.4.5 Alarm delay time for detergent overdosage
The alarm can be prevented from triggering for short-term, insignificant drops in the
concentration level (ex-works setting is 0120 s) by setting an alarm delay time (DET.
OVERDOSAGE /DELAY.: 0120 s).
The overdose concentration of detergent must be set as follows:
1. Activate the ALARM CONTROL SETUP menu.
2. Press the
↵
key.
3. Scroll with the NEXT key until the next menu is displayed.
4. Starting with the currently blinking digit, enter the required value with the or
key.
The next digit can be selected with the
↵
key.
The time can be set to a value between 1 and 9999 sec at intervals of 1 sec.
5. Press the NEXT key to confirm.
