7.1
Calibration instructions for acidic media (buffer solutions pH 7.00 and pH 4.01)
Fig. 7.1
Clean the
electrode with a
non-fluffy cloth
Pour 20-40 ml of
cleaning solution into a
clean container and
immerse the electrode
for 30 seconds
Immerse the
electrode into
clean water
(H
2
O) for 2
minutes
Clean the
electrode with a
non-fluffy cloth
Immerse the electrode into the pH7
buffer solution for 30 seconds.
On the Ecotrans, s
et the pH7
calibration pot
entiometer to 7.00.
Immerse the
electrode into
clean water
(H
2
O) for 5
seconds
Clean the electrode
with a non-fluffy cloth
Immerse the
electrode into the
pH 9.21 buffer
solution for 30
seconds.
On the Ecotrans, set the
pH 4/9 calibration
potentiometer to 4.01.
If it is not possible to set the
value as 4.01, the measuring
chain is faulty and must be
duly disposed of!
Repeat the calibration
process using a new probe!
