Safety information

Any connection and repair work on the
ECOTRANS
measurement and display unit must be
undertaken by authorised experts.

Above all, work on electrical equipment must only be undertaken once the mains plug has
been unplugged.

Emphases
The emphases shown here have the following significance in these operating instructions:
CAUTION
Used if the partial or complete non-observance of operating instructions, work
instructions, prescribed procedures and the like may lead to injuries or accidents.
WARNING
Used if the partial or complete non-observance of operating instructions, work
instructions, prescribed working procedures and the like may cause damage to the
unit.
IMPORTANT
Used if particular care must be exercised when using the unit.
INFORMATION
Used to indicate an aspect of particular importance.

Bullet points
Bullet points introduced by the symbol (
) describe activities to be carried out by the
technician or user.
2.4
Special safety instructions for maintenance and repair work
CAUTION
Work on electrical equipment must only be performed by authorised electricians in
accordance with local regulations. Before any work is undertaken on electrical
parts, the unit must be disconnected from the mains, steps must be taken to ensure
that the power is off and the system must be protected against being switched back
on again. Please note the accident prevention regulations of government safety
organisations (e.g. BGV A2) and/or valid local regulations.
IMPORTANT
Only original equipment spare parts may be used for repairs.
