5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE.
To ensure the correct operation of your boiler, the following Cleaning and maintenance operations are
necessary at the indicated frequency. The boiler must always be cold.
DAILY CLEANING WHEN THE BOILER IS COLD.
5.1.
Heat Exchanger.
Pull the drawers of the rake-this shall be done while the glass door closed in order to reach the ash inside the
boiler. This shall be done
every day when the boiler is cold. See
drawing 16
(Hidrocopper).
The Super Insert model has an automated cleaning system which frees us from this task.

If the boiler is an insert Hidrocopper model, you must open the front door as shown in
drawing 17
and
repeatedly activate the drawers of the rake (
w
). This work should be done with the glass door closed in order
to the ash falls into the boiler. This operation must be performed everyday with the cold boiler.

In Hidrocopper models, Hidrocopper cerámica and Hidrocopper mini, the user can change the place of the
drawers of the rake as appropriate. To perform this operation, you need to open the side doors. Then, you
must remove the handle (
e ) of the drawers. Unscrew the handles ( w ) of the drawers of the rake and
