4.  INSTALLATION AND SET UP

The connection and revision of the equipment must be carried out by technical personnel
with knowledge of the electrical installation from where the equipment will be powered.

1)  Carefully unpack the equipment.
2)  If  you  have  an  ECLERIS  microscope  or  colposcope,  you  can  attach  the  3D  main  unit

directly to the forearm of the scope below the ECLERIS light source hanging from it. For
doing so using an Allen key, unscrew the two screws at the bottom of the 3D main unit as
shown in the picture. Two heads of screws will emerge from the top of the 3D main unit.
These heads of screws shall be anchored to the bottom side of the light source. The base
of the light source has two holes where the head of the screws of the Ecleris 3D main unit
shall  be  introduced.  Once  the  head  of  the  anchor  screws  are  in  place,  you  will  need  to
slightly  push  back  the  3D  main  unit  in  order  to  attach  it  completely  to  the  light  source.
Finally to ensure a strong and stable coupling, tighten the screws of the 3D main unit from
the base of it

In case you have another brand/model of microscope or colposcope or if you prefer to use
the 3D main unit as a standalone one, you can lay the unit on a flat surface. If this surface
is  far  away  from  the  beam  splitter  and  the  scope,  you  can  order  an  extension  cable  (4
meters).

3)  Connect  the  power  cord  to  the  wall  socket  or  to  the  power  input  on  the  rear  side  of  the

Ecleris light source.

4)  Connect the 3D beam splitter cable to the front panel of the 3D main unit.
