(1) Select a nozzle for the air wrap airless electrostatic spray gun from the table below according to the
discharge rate and pattern width (adjustable) determined by the conditions of use.
(2) The nozzle is made of cemented carbide, which is very hard but easily chipped and, therefore, shall not
be exposed to a strong impact.
(3) The orifice (microporous) shape is the most important thing for the nozzle. Never clean the orifice
roughly using a nail or the like.
(4) If the pattern width decreases and the spray becomes excessively thicker at the pattern center when no
pattern air is supplied, the nozzle may have been worn to reach the end of its life. Replace it with a new one.
(5) Do not use the air cap with the air hole clogged with paint.
(6) When installing the air wrap airless electrostatic spray nozzle, engage it with the air cap with the notch
on the nozzle aligned with the locating pin on the air cap and firmly tighten it to the gun barrel with a
retaining nut.
If the nozzle is engaged without aligning the notch on it with the pin on the air
cap, the paint may spout out from the nozzle when the gun is triggered.
Always use a high-pressure type nozzle, with a protrusion on the seat face at the
backside of the nozzle tip. Use of other nozzles may lead to a paint leak from the
nozzle seat.

This table is based on the following conditions:
Paint: Melamine resin paint (viscosity 20 sec/FC#4 at 20°C)
Pattern width and angle: At spraying distance of 25cm
The discharge rates shown above may change depending on the fluid pressure
and viscosity. At a fluid pressure not higher than 7MPa, the pattern width can be
changed with the wrap air.
