Tightening torque for the DC power terminals X15 and X16 is 22 Nm (35 – 95mm

3. Connect the CAN cables. For instructions, refer to Section 5.7
CAN cabling of internal battery packs.
a. If there is only one battery string in the external battery rack, the CAN cabling is as in the internal
battery string.
b. For CAN cabling in a rack with two battery strings, connect the Com IN and Com OUT cables
as in Figure
21: CAN cabling in the external battery rack with two battery strings.
c. Make sure that the small termination resistor switch is in the bottom position (resistor connected) in the
master battery pack of the external battery rack. Make sure that the small termination resistor switch is in
the top position (resistor not connected) in the master battery pack in the xStorage Compact unit.
