7 .3 Single side only usage
If only one side of the Sonix Ms12 is required for the
installation, in a standalone system for example. Then
the A side should be used in preference and the B side
should be disabled in configuration.

7 .4 Priority
Priority is set on a unit by unit basis and should be
considered along with all other Sonix equipment with
priority settings.
8 Customisation
Please contact your local Eaton representative if the
custom/special functionality or operation of the Sonix
system and/or Ms12 is required.
9 Maintenance
The Sonix Ms12 unit itself does not require any specific
maintenance but the following general maintenance
should be performed monthly.
•
Check the unit for visible damage (scratches, bumps)
•
Check connections and cable integrity - replace
damaged cables, tighten terminal connectors loose
screws
•
Ensure rear panel connections are properly inserted
•
Check unit fixing to the rack – tighten loose screws
•
Remove dust and dirt from front panel - Clean with a
dry cloth
Warning:
Remove power before disconnecting
any cabling or removing the unit from the rack.

Do not use sharp objects, water, aggressive cleaning agents or
solvent to clean the unit
