6 .4 Message recording / loading
The unit will record audio signals from devices such as
mobile phones, computers etc. providing it will output
via a standard 3.5mm jack. It is recommended that the
audio file to be recorded onto the unit is generated in
mono.
The audio source for the message to be recorded should
be ready on the playback device. When the message
slot red indicator changes from fast flashing, (erasing), to
solid, (start of recording), playback of the source should
be started. Recordings that over run the maximum
record time will still be valid up to the maximum time
allowed:
The message loading process may need to be repeated
several times at different audio output levels in order to
achieve the best clarity. The output level and clarity of
the original recording will significantly affect the unit’s
recording of the message.
Message slots 1-11 allows up to 60 seconds of recording
length, while slot 12 can store a message up to 5
minutes long.
