SEFA-CO184

measurement power cord to piggy back terminals of diameter 4mm

IA and UA respecting the colour code.

SEFA-CO183

measurement cord and terminals IB and UB

WARNING

WARNING: The cable sections are calculated according to the currents flowing

in these cables. It is very important to observe the colour codes of the accesso-

ries (connect plugs of a colour on sockets of the same colour). In the event of

replacement of accessories, it is important to use the same cable sections.

PRECAUTIONS TO BE OBSERVED DURING MEASUREMENT:

As the resistances measured are low (< 1 Ω), it is essential to perform the measurement using

the '4-wire' method to be liberated from the spurious resistance of the measuring leads (interfac-
es, adapters, etc.) it is essential to guarantee this measurement principle in all circumstances in
the connections between the measurement device and the points tested.

If special links need to be implemented, it is important to use large section conductors (minimum
5 A/mm

2

) for the transmission of the current, and conductors in contact as close as possible to

the points to be measured for the measurement of the voltage drop.
