6.1.8 Oil type selection
To improve valve performance, it is a good idea to select the
correct oil type that is being used in your application. This
will allow the valve to do some viscosity compensation. This
is particularly important for controlling the valve with highly
viscous oil (i.e. VG32 below 0C). The valve has a limited set
of built-in oil types to choose from. If the oil type you
are using doesn’t match exactly to one of the types
listed below, a custom viscosity curve can be entered.
The following table lists the oil types can be selected in
the valve and the object dictionary location.
