I ns tall (4) s hippi n g bolt s a n d p r og r e ss ively tighte n
by ha n d un til they bottom o u t. Rotate the e n gi n e to
acce ss all 4 bolt s :
• 15 1/2" S olo us e 7/16 x 14 UNC x 1 3/4"
• S tamped 14" S olo us e 3/8 x 16 UNC x 1 1/4"

Remove the (4) s hippi n g bolt s . The r elea s e bea r i n g a n d
s leeve will move fo r wa r d towa r d s the e n gi n e whe n the
bolt s a r e r emoved. The S olo i s n ow i n the n ew po s itio n .

the cl u tch b r ake a n d the r elea s e
bea r i n g. It s ho u ld be betwee n
0.490" a n d 0.590".

achieve 1/8" clea r a n ce betwee n
the r elea s e yoke a n d the
r elea s e bea r i n g. Ve r ify p r ope r
cl u tch b r ake s q u eeze.

bea r i n g, r epeat Steps 7 a nd 8.

With the f r ee pedal r emoved p us h the cl u tch pedal dow n
at lea s t 5 time s . Make sur e the cl u tch r elea s e bea r i n g
co n tact s the cl u tch b r ake.
While yo u e n gage a n d r elea s e the cl u tch the cab f r ee pedal
will i n c r ea s e. Thi s i n dicate s the S olo i s adj us ti n g to the
e n vi r o n me n t.

mome n t the ga u ge ca n be r emoved:
• If pedal i s mo r e tha n 1" (25.4 mm)
f r om the floo r , r eadj us t the t ru ck
li n kage to move the yoke fi n ge rs
f ur the r f r om the r elea s e bea r i n g.
Repeat Step 1.
Less tha n 1"
( 25.4 mm)
Have a n a ss i s ta n t i ns e r t 0.010" (0.25 mm)
feele r ga u ge betwee n the r elea s e
bea r i n g a n d the cl u tch b r ake.
P r e ss the pedal dow n to the floo r to
clamp the ga u ge:
• If the ga u ge doe s n ot clamp, r eadj us t
the t ru ck li n kage a n d move the yoke
fi n ge r clo s e r to the bea r i n g.
