5.5.5.1 Module Channel Setting for 1-Cell Connection
When connecting a Module to (1) unit (applicable to 12V cells only), the CH setting switches need to be
set as shown below. Be sure to reset the Module any time the channel settings are changed.
5.5.6 Preliminary Cable Routing
Each Sensing Cable is labeled with a number which corresponds to the Module it should be connected
to. The purpose of this step is to position each sensing cable near the Module it will be connected to.
1.
Place each Voltage Sensing, Current Sensing, and Temp. Sensing cable to the
corresponding Module so that it is ready to be connected after the wires are routed and
connected to the batteries.
2.
The number on each Cable Harness always refers to the Module number it will connect to.
For example, Voltage Sensing Cable V3 connects to Module 3.

WARNING:
Do net yet connect the Molex connectors of each Sensing Cable Harness to the
Modules. Doing so can damage the Modules. The Modules will be connection in Section 6.0
NOTE:
If only monitoring the temperature of 10% of cells, the Temp. Sensing Harnesses will
only be connected to certain Modules. Be sure to connect each to the correct Module to ensure
the software reports the correct cell temperature.
