5.3.4 Checking the reversing protection
Prerequisites:
n
The machine is on level, firm ground.
n
Sufficient space to the rear without any obstacles.
1.
Start the engine
Chapter 6.2 ‘Starting the engine’

CAUTION!
Danger of injury caused by the crushing
of body parts!

When reversing, steer the machine from
the side using the steering handle.
Pull the travel lever slowly back.
ð
The machine drives backwards with a speed which corre-
sponds to the travel lever position.
3.
Push in the reversing protection and check the proper func-
tion.
ð
Make sure the machine brakes until it comes to a stand-
still.
The travel lever must disengage.
4.
If this does not work correctly, shut down the machine and
notify our Customer Service department.
5.
Only operate the machine again after it has been repaired.
6.
Shift the travel lever to neutral position.
ð
The travel lever is engaged again.
