The smooth function employs a data-smoothing algorithm to smooth the noise.
DB-20 can displays 1st through 4th order smooth spectrum. Selection of this
function causes the spectral graph screen to change.
Deriv
The Deriv function allows the user to obtain a derivative spectral graph.
DB-20 can displays 1st through 4th order derivate spectrum.
Area
This function is used to carry out area calculation. Specify the wavelength
range for area calculation, and this function will perform integration.
When the spectral wavelength Start wavelength and End wavelength are
specified, the Area function calculates the following area values.

File A or File B is to select stored file. Item 3 (Arithmetic) is to select
calculation function such as ‘A+B’, ‘A-B’, ‘A*B’, ‘A/B’. Addition, subtraction,
multiplication, and division can be performed on 2 sets of spectral data.
+K (or * K)
The +K (

K) option performs addition (multiplication) of constant (K) on the
spectral plot. A constant can be entered in four digits within a range of –9999
to 9999.
