Your DYNAFIT TourINg bINDINg
Thank you for deciding on a DYNAFIT touring binding. Your DYNAFIT touring
binding is a reliable branded product with high operating comfort. The out-
standing DYNAFIT function principles proven in operation over decades were
also retained and further improved in this modern binding. DYNAFIT touring
bindings are at this time the lightest touring bindings in the world.
All new DYNAFIT ski bindings comply with the current technical require-
ments and are suited to be used for touring ski boots with inserts offered by
DYNAFIT, SILVRETTA and SCARPA. Touring ski boots with inserts from these
manufacturers have been tested and approved by DYNAFIT. Low Tech Race,
Low Tech Radical and Speed Superlite bindings are specially designed for
racing however and users should be aware of the increased risks involved
using these bindings. The Low Tech Race and Low Tech Radical bindings do
not possess a release function.
DYNAFIT recommends SCARPA F1/F3 touring ski boots only in combination
with the SCARPA F1 binding plate (available as accessory and included in
the packaging of the F1/F3 touring ski boots from SCARPA).
Several touring ski boot makers have developed and manufactured their own
touring ski boot inserts, which are claimed to be suitable for the DYNAFIT
bindings. However, DYNAFIT cannot guarantee the correct function and the
quality of such inserts. Information on the suitability and compatibility can
be obtained from TÜV Product Service Munich. For your own safety we ask
you to read and respect the following warnings and instructions very
carefully.

• Carefully respect that the toe cannot and should not release in the locking
position.
• Therefore in case of downhill skiing it must always be made sure that
the locking lever is not in the climbing position as lateral release is not
possible in this position (except for Low Tech Race). Note the sticker on
ski!
• Be careful not to put your fingers under the springs of the toe when using
the locking lever.

Please be aware that skiing, like many other sports activities, can be dange-
rous and physical injuries of all kinds can occur.
The DYNAFIT touring binding is a part of the function unit consisting of ski
boot, binding and ski. It provides greatest possible safety based on the state
of the art. However, no binding will release under all circumstances nor is it
possible to predict every situation in which it will release.
It is not guaranteed that a skier will not be injured by a release or non-release
of the binding. The ski binding minimizes only the risk of injury on the leg
but not for the knee. The binding has no influence on any other injuries that
might occur during skiing.
• Because adjustments depend not only on the type of binding and the
boot but generally depend on the type of skier, they should exclusively be
carried out by an authorized dealer. These settings must be controlled by
a suitable test device. Installation and setting by an unauthorised person
will always be at the risk of the skier and invalidate the warranty.
