The cleaning programme continues automatically.
4) Once the cleaning programme is complete, use the pH test strips to check whether the
acidic cleaning agent has been completely flushed out of the system. After flushing, the pH
value should be within the neutral or slightly acidic range (pH 6 to pH 7). If the pH value is
still too low, restart the
DISINFECTION int.
programme.
5) Once the pH value is within the stipulated value range, reconnect the permeate connection
on the device to the permeate tank.

Once the cleaning programme is complete, the device switches to the
OFF
state.
6) Restart the device.

The device has been chemically cleaned.
8.5 Venting the high-pressure pump
Without sufficient ventilation, the chemical disinfectant or cleaning agent is not distributed
evenly throughout the system; instead, some of it remains in the filter cup. This reduces the ef-
fectiveness of the cleaning/disinfection. Therefore, particularly after replacing a filter and be-
fore starting cleaning/disinfection, you must vent the system.
