RMO100A Getting Started
6.8 Duty Cycles
During tests, RMO100A generates a high DC current that heats up the test set. To prevent RMO100A
from overheating, certain duty cycles apply depending on the used test current.

A built-in control prevents these cooling times from being skipped. If you try to start a test within the
cooling period, the display shows "Wait" and a timer counting down. After the cooling period has
elapsed, start the test using the set test parameters by pressing the
START
button. Cooling of RMO100A
is supported by a built-in fan that is automatically activated every time a test is started from the
Ready
state. It continues running 5 minutes after the test is finished.
