Loading Document on Document Glass Plate

Gently open the “
document cover
”.

Position the document on the document glass
plate.
Place the “
document face down
” on the document
glass plate,aligned with the guide (scale).
The document can be loaded in the “ portrait ” or “ landscape ” position.

A4, B5, and A5-size documents can be loaded in the “ portrait ” or “ landscape ” position.
"
Use the landscape position when enlarging or reducing from standard-size
documents to standard-size paper, such as A4 to A3.
"
A3 and B4 documents can only be loaded in the landscape position.

When printing books, thick or thin documents

When you load a non standard-size document,
place it with the center of the document
aligned with the arrow on the guide (scale).

document cover

When you place a thick document such as a
book on the document glass plate, take care not
to force the document cover as this may
damage the document glass plate with a risk of
personal injury.
