NOTICE:
Refer to DAYCOVER BULB GASKET
replacement in the PARTS REPLACEMENT
section of this manual.
7. Remove the Bulb Gasket from the door.
NOTICE:
The Reinforcement Bracket Kit includes
a right and left bracket. Ensure the correct bracket
is placed into the correct position before drilling
any holes into the Daycover Door frame.
8. Place a Reinforcement Bracket into position
over the damaged area and mark the location
of the holes to be drilled. Repeat this procedure
for the other side of the door.

9. Use the #25-drill bit provided in the kit to drill
passed the gasket groove in the door.
CAUTION: BE CAREFUL DO NOT CONTACT
THE GLASS WITH THE DRILL.
10. Use the 10-24 tap provided with the kit to tap
the holes.
11. Place the correct (right or left) bracket over
the holes.
12. Cover at least three full threads of each screw
with the Loctite provided in the kit.
13. Tighten the screws to 40 inch pounds
torque.

14. Reinstall the Daycover Bulb Gasket.
15. Reinstall the Daycover Door.
16. Reattach the Gas Dampers and Gas
Shocks.
CAUTION: Gas Dampers and Shocks are
under pressure. Use caution
when removing.
17. Check Daycover Door for Proper Operation.
Daycover Replacement – Cold Pan Unit
WARNING:
THE POWER MUST BE TURNED OFF
AND DISCONNECTED AT ALL TIMES
DURING MAINTENANCE OR REPAIR
FUNCTIONS.
This procedure covers the replacement of an
existing Daycovoer with a new Daycover of the
same type.
1. Disconnect the Front Counter from its power
source.
2. Remove the Décor Panel from the customer
side of the unit.
3. Remove the 3 bolts from each end Pylon.
