Daycover Pylon Gasket
8. Remove the rubber gaskets from the Daycover
Pylons.
9. Carefully lift the Daycover away from the
unit.
10. Slide Hinge Blocks from Hinge Pins on the
Daycover and set aside for reuse.
NOTICE: The new replacement door comes with
the frame, handle and ball joints mounted.
11. Reinstall one Hinge Block; ensure that it is
seated properly.
12. Place the Daycover Door into position.
13. Reinstall the remaining Hinge Block.
14. Line up and reattach Hinge Blocks to
base unit.
15. Install the new rubber gaskets to the
Daycover Pylons.
16. Reattach all Gas Dampening Cylinders and
Gas Shocks. Refer to GAS DAMPER AND
GAS SHOCK replacement in the PARTS
REPLACEMENT section of this manual.
17. Ensure Daycover Door opens and closes
properly.
Daycover Light
WARNING:
THE POWER MUST BE TURNED OFF
AND DISCONNECTED AT ALL TIMES
DURING MAINTENANCE OR REPAIR
FUNCTIONS.
Location of Daycover Light Fixture
The Daycover Light Fixture is mounted in the top
of the Daycover unit towards the operator’s side
of the unit.
1. Remove all food products from the work area
and remove the unit from its power source.
2. Place the Daycover Door in closed position.
3. Remove Light Bulb Cover.
4. Remove light bulb.
5. Detach lamp cord.
6. Remove Daycover Light Fixture.
NOTICE: If replacing with retrofit kit, refer
to RETRO-FIT LIGHT KIT INSTALLATION in
the RETRO-FIT INSTALLATIONS section of
this manual.
7. Reattach new Daycover Light Fixture.
8. Replace light bulb.
9. Reconnect lamp cord.
10. Reattach light bulb cover.
11. Reconnect power and ensure Light Fixture
lights properly.
