Daycover Light Clip
WARNING:
THE POWER MUST BE TURNED OFF
AND DISCONNECTED AT ALL TIMES
DURING MAINTENANCE OR REPAIR
FUNCTIONS.
Older style Light Clips are plastic and break easily.
Use this procedure to replace broken plastic Light
Clips with stainless steel Light Clips.
1. Disconnect Light Cord from power source.
2. Loosen the screw with the broken Light Clip
enough to remove the Light Clip.
3. Apply a small amount of Loctite on the exposed
threads of the loosened screw.
4. Insert the slotted end of the new stainless steel
Light Clip over the screw.
5. Install and tighten the screw.
6. Replace all remaining plastic Light Clips with
stainless steel Light Clips.
7. Reconnect the Light Cord.
Daycover Damage Repair
WARNING:

AND DISCONNECTED AT ALL TIMES
DURING MAINTENANCE OR REPAIR
FUNCTIONS.
Additional reinforcement is required in case of
corner damage to the Daycover Door or frame
separation at the corners. The Daycover Doors
must be removed to install the reinforcement
bracket.
1. Before starting this procedure, make sure
a Daycover Reinforcement Kit P/N SUB-
DCCRNR-KIT is available.
2. Remove all food product from the area to be
worked on and disconnect the unit from its
power source.
3. Remove the Gas Dampers and Gas Shocks.

section of this manual.
NOTICE:
Refer to DAYCOVER DOOR replacement
in the PARTS REPLACEMENT section of this
manual.
4. Remove the Daycover Door.

5. Inspect the Daycover for damage.

6. Using a 24″ or lager clamp, close the damaged
corner.
