3.15.3 Upgrade MCU for ECM of HONDA, PIAGGIO, YAMAHA
This function used to program or upgrade software inside MCU
(firmware)
of HONDA, PIAGGIO and YAMAHA motorcycles.
- HONDA: AIRBLADE 125, LEAD 125, SH MODE 125, VISION 110
- PIAGGIO/VESPA: ECM types are IC AC19I/AC20I/AC24I/AC25I/AC27I/
AC32I, MIU G3/RIU1 and ECM PGN04/PGS02/PGT01
- YAMAHA EXCITER 150
Step 1:
- Use “ET0006 – LINK” cable to connect MOTOBOX and MOTOSCAN
- Use DLC cable to connect MOTOBOX and DLC connector on motorcycle
Step 2:
Select “
Connect to vehicle
” menu from the main interface of
screen and then press “
Select OK
”, the screen displays motorcycle
manufacturers:
Step 3:
Select
manufacturer
(Example: HONDA)
then press
“
Select/ OK
”.

The screen displays connection guide to motorcycle. You check the
connection between DLC
cable and DLC diagnostic connector on
motorcycle. If your connection is exactly then press “
Select/ OK
”
to
continue:
The screen displays list of HONDA markets. You press “
Shift up and
down
” button to select market
(Example: Vietnam)
then press “
Select/
OK
”
