6. Commissioning, operaon
Before starng any task, the device should be switched on brie ly to
f
determine that there is su cient charge in the ba ery (ba ery level in %).
ff
The ba ery level is shown in the upper right of the screen in a device-
status message. 100 % ba ery charge will enable approximately 25
hours of instrument operaon.
Inially the test assembly must be physically assembled and connected electrically (see
chapter "4.4.1 Connecon of the
reference pressure sensor").
LPC-2
Before switching the
on, ensure that the test assembly is not pressurised
calibrator
(system is vented to atmosphere) and that the equipment is correctly assembled and in
the correct mounng posion.
Only disconnect test and calibraon installaons once the system has
been depressurised!
Parcularly small measuring ranges (e.g. < 1 bar) are orientaon dependent (i.e. the
mounng posion considerably inl uences the measurement signal). This can be
f
compensated, if necessary, using the
funcon (see chapter "6.5
funcon").
TARE
TARE
Absolute-pressure measuring ranges < 1 bar absolute are, by de inion, in an overload
f
condion at atmospheric pressure. Therefore the message "Sensor Over low" appears in
f
the display, indicang a pressure outside of the measuring range of the a ached sensor.
If the pressure is reduced, so that it falls within the permissible measuring range, then this
message disappears from the display.
