Configuring Default
Values
All system settings on the Vitalert 3000 Series, including alarm limits,
Datascan settings, units of measure, etc., are initially configured with
factory default values. Initial setup of the machine should include
configuring all of the system settings and the monitor setup values.
In addition to the template that contains the factory default alarm limit
settings, the monitor can store eight additional templates in its memory for
later selection. As part of your installation procedure, configure the
Standard Site Defaults; these settings become the default alarm limit values
upon power-up for all subsequent cases. For complete information on
