Section 3
Routine Maintenance
Following the completion of the span calibration, the Vitalert 3000 Series
monitor shall be cycled through STBY.
The Gas Analyzer Accuracy Test, outlined earlier in this section, should be
performed to verify acceptance of the span calibration.
To return to the main maintenance screen or select another maintenance
screen:
1. Use the rotary dial to position the cursor on the
MAIN
or another
maintenance selection.
2. Press the dial to enter the selected screen.
Tilt Bezel
Friction Adjustment
The front bezel should be able to stay in any position within the tilt range.
If a friction adjustment needs to be made, proceed as follows:
1. Turn the friction adjustment hex head socket screws, located on both
sides of the bezel, using a 1/8" hex wrench or driver. Refer to the
figure below. Clockwise rotation tightens the bezel; counterclockwise
rotation loosens the bezel.
2. Check the feel of the bezel, and readjust the screws if necessary.
NOTE:
Make adjustments in small increments to avoid over-tightening
and damaging the bezel.
