GPS is a function that receives radio waves from the GPS satellites and acquires location information of the FOMA
terminal.
⿠
This GPS function cannot be used as a navigation device for airplanes, vehicles or people or as a device for conducting
high-accuracy survey. If it is used for these purposes or even if used for other purposes, we do not take any responsibility
for a loss, such as pure economic loss resulting from the facts that you have missed the chance to check the positioning
(communication) results, which have been caused by external factors such as malfunctions, erroneous operations, or
power failure (including battery shortage) on the FOMA terminal.

GPS is operated by the United States Department of Defense, so the GPS radio wave conditions might be controlled
(accuracy deterioration or radio wave supply suspension, etc.) depending on the defense strategy of the United States
Department of Defense. In addition, even when surveys have been conducted in the same location or environment, the
radio wave status may differ depending on the positions of the satellites so that the same results may not be obtained.

GPS uses the radio waves from satellites so note that in the environments listed below make impossible or diffi cult to
receive radio waves, and as a result, the error in the position information may be greater than 300 meters.

In densely wooded areas, downtown high-rise areas, built-up residential areas
・
In a building or right under it
・
In the basement, tunnel, ground, water
・ Close to high-tension wires ・ In a car or train
・
In bad weather such as heavy rain and snow
・
In a bag or case
・
There are obstacles (persons and articles) around the FOMA terminal.
・
When you cover the displays, keys, microphone, or speakers of the FOMA terminal with your hand.

When providing position information or notify your current location, check the information given from your GPS service
provider or DOCOMO’s website. In some cases, you may be charged for using these functions.

When you are outside the service area, you cannot use the GPS function except to check your current position.
⿠ In the following cases, you cannot use the GPS function except to provide your position.
