Basic Operation
Using Touch Panel
The touch panel can be used to perform actions such as
selecting items and scrolling display. “ ” is displayed when
the touch panel can be used, and “ ” is displayed when it
cannot be used.
Before use, peel off the stickers which is stuck on the touch
panel at the time of purchase.

Notes on using Touch Panel
The touch panel is designed to be touched lightly with a
fi nger. Do not press the screen strongly with a fi nger or
pointed objects such as fi ngernails, ballpoint pens, and pins.
In the following cases, the touch panel may not work even
if you touch it. Also, following operations may cause a
malfunction.

Operation wearing gloves
・
Touching with a fi ngernail
・
Operation with foreign objects placed on the operation
surface
・
Operation on the touch panel on which a protective sheet or
a sticker is put

Touch
Simply tap the touch panel.
Select/OK
Touch an item or control key on the
touch panel.
Long touch
Touch and keep your fi nger
on the touch panel.
Move the cursor or highlighted item on
the touch panel
Touch an item long on the list, etc.
Continuous operation
Touch a control key long for fast
forward, etc.
Slide
Touch and keep your fi nger
on the touch panel and move
it up, down, right or left.
Scroll
Slide an item on the list, etc.
Display the previous or next data
You can use the “Slide” operation to
display the previous or next data/page,
etc.
Quick slide
Quickly slide your fi nger up,
down, right or left and then
lift it off from the touch panel.
Scroll
On some displays, scrolling continues
for a while even after you lift your
fi nger up. To stop scrolling, touch the
panel while scrolling.
Display the previous or next data
You can use the “Quick slide”
operation to display the previous or
next data/page, etc.
