Using the IDW500 Printer
About your Printer
Your DS-RX1HS printer comes with a user manual as well as other documentation should you need in-depth instructions on
operating your printer. For daily use, the procedures in this chapter provide basic usage instructions as well as some
troubleshooting and maintenance steps.
Attention
Be sure to save your shipping box!
If you need to transport your printer or send your printer in for repairs, the
original shipping box is the safest packing option. Just put the packaging materials (including the print head
protection foam block) back in the box and store it in a safe place.
Replacing the Printer Media
Always replace both the ribbon and paper at the same time.

Remove the print catch tray from the front of the printer and empty the paper scrap box.
