M8-2
Nominal battery voltage
“
NomBatV
”
Is the nominal value of the battery connected to the controller.
M8-3
BDI reset level
“
BDIreset
”
This sets the voltage at which the BDI will reset to show a 100% charged battery on the Sigmagauge or the DMC Display.
This setting only has an effect at power-up.
The adjustable range is from 18V to controller absolute maximum voltage, that corresponds to 125% of the nominal
operating voltage of the controller.
M8-4
BDI empty level
“
BDIempty
”
This sets the 0% state of charge level for the BDI. Whenever the battery voltage is equal to or less than
battery voltage, the BDI value will start to decrease.
M8-5
BDI warning level
”
BDIwarn
”
This sets the level of battery voltage at which the BDI warning icon on the Sigmagauge and DMC Display will start to flash.
The value is set as a percentage, where 100% corresponds to parameter
and 0%
corresponds to parameter
.
The calibrator displays the BDI warning condition in
.
M8-6
BDI cut out level
“
BDIcut
”
This parameter has a different effect between traction and pump software and can be disabled by setting it to 0.
In traction software, this sets the level of battery voltage at which the speed of the vehicle will be limited to a value set
by the parameter
.
The value is set as a percentage, where 100% corresponds to parameter
and 0%
corresponds to parameter
In Pump software if the level of battery voltage is below
the pump is stopped, with the
exception of the Speed6/PowerSteer operation.
The calibrator displays the BDI cut condition in the
at lines 2 (F03) and line 3 (Bdi valule and BDI status),
by pr or

buttons.
M8-7
BDI speed limit “BDIspeed”
This set is active only for traction software. It is not active for pump software.
This sets the maximum speed of the vehicle if the BDI level is below the value set by the parameter
.
M8-8
Drive Battery Current Limit (max. value) “IBattMax”
M8-9
Regen Battery Current Limit “IBattReg”
These two settings define the static Batery Current Limits (BCL) for motor drive or regen current in the battery. They are
active both for pump and traction software. If set to 700.0A (default value) the corresponding BCL is disabled.
The behavior of these values depend on setting
Battery Current Limit Via Can type “BlcCanMsg””
.
