20 OPERATION OF ELECTRIC COMPONENTS
20.1 MAIN CONTROL CENTRE (PK)
K1:
Start contactor of electric motor M1(optional extra)
K2:
Contactor of EMERGENCY STOP button.
Switches the power supply on/off according to the position of the EMERGENCY STOP button.
K3:
Control relay of the power supply relay. Switches off the control voltage from the power supply
relay after a preset delay or after the key switch has been turned to position 0.
K5:
Power supply relay. Switches off the power supply from all electric appliances except the
emergency operations of the boom.
K6:
Senses, if the AC-feed is connected.
K7:
Start relay for the combustion engine. Controls the start solenoid of the combustion engine.
K8:
Glowing relay. Switches on the current to the glow plugs of the combustion engine.
K9:
Operation relay.
Excites the generator and feeds the start signal to the bus.
K10:
Levelling the platform forward.
K11:
Levelling the platform backward.
K12:
Control relay of the RPM linear motor. Extends the stroke of the linear motor.
K13:
Control relay of the RPM linear motor. Shortens the stroke of the linear motor.
K14:
Operation relay of the motor. Switches on the control voltage in the start circuit of the engine.
K15:
Selector relay of the motor. Switches over the running instruction to the control contactor K1 of
the engine, if the AC-feed is plugged and the combustion engine has not been started.
K16:
Auxiliary relay for the boom system. Switches over the control voltage to the changeover valve
5B in case one the boom movements is activated. The relay does not draw until the combustion
engine revolutions have increased to the required level.
K17:
By-pass relay for the boom raising. Passes by the outrigger limit-switches as the by-pass button
S26 and the button 1 on the joystick are depressed. Enables lifting of the boom to the horizontal
plane as the drive function is operational.
K18:
Auxiliary relay for chassis. Switches over the control voltage to the changeover valve 5A as one of
the movements on chassis is activated. The relay does not draw until the combustion engine
revolutions have increased to the required level.
K19:
"Telescope in" relay. Switches on the voltage to the "telescope in" valve 6 as the "telescope in"
button S30 or S31 is depressed.
