Check the Engine Oil Level
Maintaining the proper engine oil level is
essential to good engine performance and
service life.
Operating the machine with an improper oil
level can damage engine components.
Check the oil level with the
engine off.
1 Open the engine cover
2 Pull out the lubricating oil dipstick and wipe
off a lint-free, clean cloth.
3 Insert the lubricating oil dipstick as it will
go.
4 Extract the lubricating oil dipstick and read
off the oil level

Result: The oil level must always be
between the MIN and MAX mark. Top up to the
MAX mark if necessary.

Check the Hydraulic Oil Level
Maintaining the hydraulic oil at the proper level
is essential to machine operation. Improper
hydraulic oil levels can damage hydraulic
components. Daily checks allow the inspector
to identify changes in oil level that might
indicate the presence of hydraulic system
problems.
Perform this procedure with
the platform in the stowed position and the
engine off.
1 Visually inspect the sight of hydraulic oil
level from the side of the hydraulic oil tank.

Result: The hydraulic oil level should be
within the top 5 cm of the tank.
2 Add oil if necessary. Do not overfill.

hydraulic oil according to the ambient
temperature used.
