2. Installation
Notes
Each time a new lens is
fitted to the projector,
the calibration procedure
must be carried out. See
Setup menu, in Section 4.
Controlling the projector.
Make sure the rear lens cap is
removed, before fitting the lens.
Be careful not to scratch
the lens surfaces. If you do
accidentally touch a lens, then
clean the surface using a lens
paper.
The lens release lever should
always be set to the locked
position, as shown on the
next page, to prevent the lens
from falling out.

Fitting the lens
Turn the lens release lever clockwise so that it is pointing upwards, to open the
lock fully.
Remove the rear lens cap from the lens.
Insert the lens into the lens aperture, making sure that the plug on the zoom
drive mechanism lines up with the socket on the front of the projector, then push
the lens in firmly as far as it will go.

Turn the lens release lever anti-clockwise to the mid-position, as shown below.

The lens can now be pushed in further. Push the lens in firmly as far as it will go.
