CONNECTION IN V.22 AND MNP
The programming for the connection of the two modems, by
enabling the error corrector, is given below.
Remember that the auto-answer function is by default disabled in
the modem.
The programming commands are:

SYNCHRONOUS CONNECTION
For synchronous connection, you need to use various commands
such as, DTR control, enabling synchronous operation etc...
In synchronous mode, phone calls can be made manually or via an
asynchronous terminal connected to the MAIN PORT or
COMMAND PORT.
