A more precise result can be achieved with measurement. For this, the motor voltage is
measured with a moving-iron instrument. The motor must run at half the rated speed. The
rotor flow F0 is now set so that the moving-iron instrument shows half the rated voltage. If the
voltage is too low, the rotor flow should be increased. If the voltage is too high, the rotor flow
should be reduced.
