Recording
Recording a dictation
1. Press the FILE button to start a new dictation. The
display shows “NEW“. Instead of the current time the
remaining dictation time in hours and minutes is
displayed.
2. Press the REC/STOP button or the button to start the
recording. The status LED glows red and the display
shows “REC“.
The dictations are numbered consecutively. Each
dictation gets assigned the next free dictation number
automatically. The display shows
[actual number]
/ [amount of dictations]. If the remaining
recording time falls below 10%, a message “Warning
REC Time“ is displayed for one second and the
recording starts afterwards.
3. Press the button if you wish to pause the recording.
REC is blinking. To restart the recording press the
button again. Alternatively you can finish and restart the
recording by pressing the REC/STOP button briefly.
4. To finish the recording, press the REC/STOP button or the FILE button
briefly.
