Turning the Dictation Device On or Off
Push the button (Jog Dial) to turn the device on. To turn the device off, hold the
button (Jog Dial) until the LCD display goes blank.
Standby mode
After turning on the device is in standby mode. In this mode
all functions are available. Beneath the clock the total number
of dictations, the current dictation number and the length of
the dictation are displayed:
- [actual dictation] / [amount of dictations]
- length of the dictation
If the device rests in standby mode for 5 minutes it will shut down automatically.
Default settings
The default setting for the device is activated Voice Activation (VOX) and low
microphone sensitivity.
Background lighting
The background lighting is active only on special functions. You can switch to
constant lighting by pressing the
button briefly. Pressing the button again
switches back to the default behavior.
