DiBO n.v. 83
Antifreeze filling function
Remove the lance from the spray gun and turn off the cleaner
but with electrical contact on (fuel engine not
started)
! Turn the burner switch ‘on’ and ‘off’ (within 2 seconds).
The red lamp lights up indicative, the antifreeze filling function is now active!
Start the fuel engine by turning the key contact to the right (START position) and at idle speed (throttle left)!
The antifreeze filling function remains active for 2 minutes, the red light stays lit during this time.
Add antifreeze (for mobile application, +- 15 litres) to the water supply tank, in order that the cleaner can suck
this liquid to fill with antifreeze. Spray till the antifreeze water flows out of the spray gun (this indicates that the
cleaner is filled with antifreeze) or wait till the antifreeze filling function time is ended.
Remember: loosen also the spray gun once, this to fill the bypass line with antifreeze.
5 seconds after extinguishing of the lamp, the cleaner will stop on “run dry water” (see section 11 - 4.2).
The cleaner is now filled with antifreeze, turn off the key contact and store the cleaner in a storage area.
Frost protection function (circulating water through the filling kit antifreeze)
In order to make it possible to couple the high pressure hose and low pressure hose and to pump water
around during a longer time period, there is a function provided where switching off the cleaner after 30 min-
utes is deactivated when no pressure build up.
Thus water is pumped at low pressure during a longer time without the machine shuts down.
The function is activated during “no started” condition of the cleaner but the key contact is on.
One should now turn the burner switch on and off (see also antifreeze fill function, it’s also active).
From that moment the cleaner will not turn off at 30 minutes no pressure build up.
This mode remains active until the cleaner (with key contact) is stopped again.
Antifreeze is an additive which may absolutely not been drained/discharged without permission.
You have to collect the outlet antifreeze water in a reservoir. This is also the case when you use the
cleaner once more, the antifreeze water which has been left in the cleaner will then flow through.
Please do always take into account the matching security measures.
At starting the cleaner again:
- Fill the tank with water and start the cleaner.
- Capture the antifreeze till water flows out of the spray gun (see below).
TIP:
You can use the collected water with antifreeze several times!
Remark: pay attention to the water supply hose & supply water filter, these are not filled with antifreeze agent!
You can uncouple the supply hose/water filter and put away the hose/filter frost free.
You also can drain the water from the hose (eg.: by blowing with compressed air) or through the water filter
(by loosening the basket and draining the water from the hose).
Option: filling kit antifreeze (see photo below - 1.230.100/101/102).
First loosen the basket from the water filter. Connect the filling set antifreeze to the low pressure hose and
to the high pressure hose (closed circuit). Put the cleaner on idle speed and operate the spray gun. Keep the
spray gun pressed till the water flows out of the low pressure hose and there is filled with antifreeze till the
water filter. Turn the basket back on the filter and then push again on the spray gun.
Hold the spray gun until also the water filter (note the color of antifreeze in the water filter) is filled with anti-
freeze (+- 20 litres). Turn off the cleaner and disconnect the antifreeze filling set of the hoses.
The low pressure side is now also filled with antifreeze.
