1. GENERAL
The Winterization kit should be installed for operations in temperatures consistently below 0
°
C
(32
°
F).The kit consists of permanently installed mounting hardware and caution placards with quickly
detachable oil cooler and radiator inlet baffles. The baffles partially restrict the airflow through the oil
cooler and radiator to maintain optimum oil and coolant temperatures.
2. OPERATING LIMITATIONS
Maximum T/O temperature with baffles installed is 10
°
C(50
°
F).
The following placard must be located in two places, one immediately forward of the oil cooler inlet the
other upon the radiator inlet baffle:
3. EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
There is no change to the airplane emergency procedures when the winterization kit is installed.
4. NORMAL PROCEDURES
Preflight Inspection:
