wait 2 minutes before fitting the new
batteries
(all previously programmed information remains in the memory),

fit the 2 new alkaline LR03 – 1.5 V (AAA) batteries respecting polarity,

reclose the detector,

press the test button and check for detection by opening the entrance protected by
the detector one or several times: the red indicator lamp should light up at each ope-
ning.
The batteries must be replaced with alkaline batteries of the same
type (LR03 – 1.5 V AAA). Please dispose of the old batteries
in a container for this purpose.
