Program the chosen zone or group code (series of 4 digits made up of “0” and “1”)
using the “0” and “1” keys on the detector as follows:
The chosen zone or group is now allocated to the detector. If you wish to modify this
allocation at a later date, carry out the procedure for programming the zone or
group again (once the detector has been opened).
FIXING AND TESTING

Fixing

Determine the exact location of the
detector (see INSTALLATION PRECAU-
TIONS).
The magnet holder must be less than 5
mm from the detector and opposite the
integrated opening contact (align the verti-
cal notch on the magnet holder base with
the arrow on the detector base).

Adjust the height of the magnet holder

with respect to the contact detector

If necessary, use the shims

supplied for
the magnet holder or place a shim under
the contact detector.
Start the
programming
by pressing both
the 0 and 1 keys
simultaneously
until the indicator
lamp goes out.
Press both
the 0 and 1 keys
simultaneously
again until
the indicator
lamp goes out.
Confirm programming
by pressing both
the 0 and 1 keys
simultaneously until
the indicator lamp
goes out. The indicator
lamp lights up for 5 s to
indicate programming
has been successful.
Carry out the
4 successive short
presses correspon-
ding to the code of
the zone or group.
The red indicator
lamp lights up each
time a key is
pressed.
