Fix the detector base using the screws
and rawplugs supplied or, if necessary,
others that are better suited.

Screw the detector to its base and fit the
screw head plug (supplied with the bunch
of plastic parts for the magnet holder) to the
cover. The self-protection against attempts
to open the detector is activated.

Fix the magnet holder base

Place the magnet

into the magnet holder cover

. Then clip
the cover to the base.

Testing
➀
Briefly press the Test button on the detector (the indicator lamp lights up whilst the
button is pressed) to go into test mode for 1 minute 30 seconds.

Open the entrance protected by the detector one or several times: the red indica-
tor lamp should light up at each opening, and go out when closed.

Check that the control panel:
●
emits an audible signal and an indicator lamp on the control panel lights up,
●
or gives a voice message
“Group X Intrusion”

After the test period the detector returns to normal operation; the
indicator lamp no longer lights up at each opening.
Carry out a real test on the detector using your alarm system (refer to the system
Installation or User Guide).
REPLACING THE BATTERIES
When put into operation, the control panel indicates contact detector battery faults.
To locate the faulty detector, press each test button; if the indicator lamp does not
light up, the battery must be replaced as follows:

take a remote control unit,

open the detector casing whilst pressing the Off key of the remote control at the
same time (see Opening chapter),

To unclip the magnet holder cover,
insert a small flat screwdriver into the notch
provided and turn the screwdriver.
