If platform opener is mounted too far in, the platform will lean too far back when it is lowered to the ground. The operator can
suffer a back injury when pulling the platform open from this position. [Figure 13.4]



If platform opener is mounted too far out, the platform could fall over when it is lowered to the ground and could hit the limbs of
the operator or any bystanders. [Figure 13.4]



Therefore, it is important that you adjust the platform opener so that the platform stands just inside from vertical position when
lowered to the ground, and the operator can unfold the platform sections comfortably.
