Emergency measures

The spare tire is located below

the rear of the vehicle.

To remove the spare tire, follow the

procedure below.

Spare tire

Open the back door, remove the

cover, and remove the spare tire cover.

Use the wheel nut wrench to turn

the spare wheel mounting bolt

counterclockwise to lower the spare

tire. When the spare tire is lowered

enough to remove the cover from the

tire wheel hole, stop rotating the spare

wheel mounting bolts and remove the

spare tire.

Block the wheels

Warning

Be sure to block the appropriate

wheels to prevent movement of the

vehicle, resulting in personal injury.

As shown in the following figure,
