 Rapid Storage Technology 

The Intel Rapid Storage Technology is a utility that allows you to monitor the current status 

of the SATA drives. It enables enhanced performance and power management for the storage 

subsystem.

 

To install the driver, download “SU256-SCM IRST Driver” zip file.

2.  Read the license agree-

ment and click “I accept 

the terms in the License 

Agreement”. Then, click 

“Next”.

1.  Setup is ready to install 

the utility. Click “Next”.

3.  Go through the readme 

document to view system 

requirements and installa-

tion information then click 

“Next”.

5.  Confirm the installation and 

click “Next”.

4.  Click “Next” to install to 

the default folder or click 

“change to choose another 

destination folder”.
