1. Remove fasteners.
2. Proceed as previously described to slide
guard past the spindle.
3. Replace the fasteners.
4. Clamp the guard as previously described.
Fitting and Removing a Grinding or
Cutting Disc (fig. 1, 6, 7)
1. Place the tool on a table, guard up.
2. Fit the inner flange (N) correctly onto the
spindle (O) (fig. 6).
3. Place the disc (P) on the flange (N). When
fitting a disc with a raised center, make sure
that the raised centre (Q) is facing the flange
(N).
4. Screw the outer flange (R) onto the spindle

(O) (fig. 7):
– the ring on the flange (R) must face towards
the disc when fitting a grinding disc (Fig. 7A);
– the ring on the flange (R) must face away
from the disc when fitting a cutting disc
(Fig. 7B).
5. Press the spindle lock (B) and rotate the spindle
(O) until it locks in position.
6. Tighten the flange (R) with the two-pin spanner
supplied.
7. Release the spindle lock.
To remove the disc, loosen the flange (R) with the two-
pin spanner.
WARNING:
Do not use a damaged disc.
