4-1.8 — Trace Menu
Access the Trace menu by pressing the
Trace
(#5) key on the data keypad to the right of the display. The
Trace menu
allows the user to compare the current measurement trace to a trace saved to the
instrument’s internal memory, performing a variety of mathematical comparison functions.
Trace Menu
Data to Memory:
Records the current measurement trace into the “Mem” slot in the instrument’s
internal memory. Any trace comparisons from this point will be between the new trace and the one
recorded as “Mem”.
Display Data:
Opens the Display Data submenu.
Data Math:
Opens the Data Math submenu.
Display Data Submenu
Data:
Tap to show the current measurement trace (in yellow) on the display.
Mem:
Tap to show the saved measurement trace (in blue) on the display.
Data & Mem
: Tap to show the current and saved measurement traces simultaneously.
OFF:
Tap to turn off all measurement traces, leaving a blank grid.
Data Math Submenu
OFF:
Tap to disable the activated Data Math function.
Data / Mem
: Shows the quotient of the current trace divided by the saved trace.
Data * Mem:
Shows the product of the current trace multiplied by the saved trace.
Data - Mem
: Shows the difference of the saved trace subtracted from the current trace.
Data + Mem
: Shows the sum of the current trace added to the saved trace.
